Why did you want to be a Roadtrip Nation Roadie?

I want to be a Roadie for Roadtrip Nation not only to gain perspective on my life, but to also help high school kids who are about to enter college and are worried about how exactly to go about it.

Longest road trip: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Shreveport, Louisiana.

I can’t leave for the Roadtrip without my…Guitar.

Any hidden talents?

I’m a Louisiana State Golden Gloves Boxer.

Boom! Genie, three wishes, what would you wish for?
The ability to fly. To never have to pay taxes again. To be reincarnated as a dog.

What are you hoping to gain from the experience?

I am looking forward to traveling, helping and communicating with students, sharing stories, and learning more about everything—the world, other people, and myself.

Longest road trip: Just up the California coast—San Diego to San Francisco.

I can’t leave for the Roadtrip without my…Journal.

Any hidden talents?
My thumbs are double-jointed. I can sing really, really low, especially for a girl. I can Hula-Hoop for an extraordinarily long time.

Boom! Genie, three wishes, what would you wish for?
1. The ability to have the food I want magically appear whenever I want it to.
2. Perfect hair day every day.
3. For people to show more love for and acceptance of one another.

What are you hoping to gain from the experience?

I want to learn about myself. I want to talk to absolutely everybody I encounter. I want to stargaze on top of the RV in the deep South. Most of all, I want to encourage students to stay true to themselves, and share my story in the hope that it may help quell the fears of others.

Longest road trip: Urbana, Illinois to Washington, D.C.

I can’t leave for the Roadtrip without my… Bicycle. Wait—no. Ketchup.

Any hidden talents?

Finding the perfect combination of condiments for any food.

Boom! Genie, three wishes, what would you wish for?
1. The ability to apparate.
2. A month-long hangout with all my favorite people in the world on one big tropical island.
3. A miniature elephant that never gets big and doesn’t have an inferiority complex.

What are you hoping to gain from the experience?

Intentionally getting outside of my day-to-day surroundings has never failed to unearth perspective on myself. I really look forward to speaking through my experiences with students and hearing their thoughts on what we have to say. It’s going to be a good time.

Longest road trip? Long Beach, California to Seattle, Washington and back.

can’t leave for the Roadtrip without my… Blanket.

Any hidden talents?

Cuttin’ a rug.

Boom! Genie, three wishes, what would you wish for?
1. Endless seasons of the original Twilight Zone.
2. To be best friends with P.T. Anderson
3. Aaaaand for Skee-Lo to have all of his wishes granted: “I wish I was little bit taller, I wish I was a baller,” etc.
