Local Students Attending CGI Alongside Roadtrip Nation Today!

June 7, 2012

Roadtrip Nation is attending the Clinton Global Initiative-America (CGI-A) Annual Meeting today. In an effort to help low-income students from at-risk communities re-engage in the workforce and in their futures, Brian McAllister, co-founder of Roadtrip Nation, will be participating in the “Reconnecting Youth” working group at the Clinton Global Initiative-America (CGI-A) Annual Meeting.

Three students, who are juniors at John Hancock High School, will also attend CGI-A alongside Roadtrip Nation to interview global leaders for change. The students—Yadira, Brianna, and Faviola—are going through Roadtrip Nation’s curriculum as part of an after-school program called Youth Guidance (www.youth-guidance.org).

We will be tweeting from CGI today @RoadtripNation #CGIamerica our students will be reaching out to Leaders during the meeting in hopes of interviewing them to gain some wisdom and life lessons. So if you are attending CGI today, look out for the students and share you story!
