Team Pixel Party Heads to San Francisco!

Hello from the Design Department!

We are aflutter here at HQ because this week we’ll be attending the first-ever HOW Interactive Design Conference in San Francisco! This is a major design conference geared toward using print design skills for interactive purposes like mobile, tablets, and web. So, for Roadtrip Nation, that means building cool, new features for our sites and online educational curriculum!

We will not only attend this conference as part of our self-education here at Roadtrip Nation, but also as an Indie Roadtrip—say hello to Josh, Tawny, and Monique from Team Pixel Party! Get it? Yeah, we’re nerds…

Anyway, we are so excited to sit down with this mind-blowing list of Conference speakers and have a conversation:

Bridgid McCarren – Senior Art Director, HOW Magazine

Ilene Strizver – Founder, The Type Studio

Karen McGrane – Managing Partner, Bond Art + Science

Jose Caballer – Chief Visionary and CCO, The Groop

Chris Converse – Partner, Codify Design Studio

Cameron Moll – Founder and Principal, Cameron Moll LLC and Authentic Jobs Inc.

David Sherwin – Principal Designer, Frog

We are also super excited to have booked a few interviews with San Francisco-based design powerhouses as well:

Hello!Lucky: Hello!Lucky is a boutique design/print studio specializing in wedding invitations, save the dates, birth announcements, letterpress cards, and stationery.

Agency Charlie: Agency Charlie is a multimedia advertising agency dedicated to brand planning, strategy, and content development. They believe that compelling storytelling is the best way to convey a company’s brand and recognition to consumers.

Follow us as we live tweet from the Conference from November 2-4 @RoadtripNation
