Roadtrip Nation at Big Ideas Fest!

This week several of our crew members attended the Big Ideas Fest 2010, an education conference, in Half Moon Bay, Calif., along with eight students going through The Roadtrip Nation Experience from South San Francisco High School AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) classes.

During the past two days at the event, the students interviewed 14 big-thought Leaders in industries like science, education, and technology. Our team there put together an amazing video—in an extremely quick turnaround— of some of the students’ inspirational interviews asking the Leaders how they got to where they are now. Some of the Leaders at this year’s Fest include a researcher at Microsoft, the founder of Be Playful Design, and the associate vice president of academic affairs at JFK University.

The Big Ideas Fest is a three-day event that brings together innovative, inspirational, and cutting-edge thinkers who are all dedicated to thinking outside the box on K-20 education.

Kudos to our crew and the Roadtrip Nation students for putting together an awesome video piece, and for making a huge Roadtrip Nation presence at the Big Ideas Fest!
